This Refund Policy outlines the terms under which financial contributions, subscriptions, and related services are handled. By using our platform, you agree to the conditions described below.

1. No Refunds on Project Contributions

All contributions made through Global Climate X—whether for:

Carbon offsetting
Acquisition of Energy Attribute Certificates (EACs)
Support for climate-positive projects are non-refundable once the transaction is completed.

This is because, upon confirmation of your contribution:

The corresponding amount is transferred directly to the project developers.
Verified certificates are generated and issued in your name.
These actions are permanent and non-reversible, ensuring environmental integrity.

We encourage users to thoroughly review all project information before making a contribution.

2. Prime Calculator Subscription Policy

The Prime Calculator, a premium tool developed by Global Climate X, empowers businesses and individuals to accurately track and manage their carbon footprint.

Once an annual subscription is activated:

The payment is final and non-refundable.
The subscription remains valid for the full 12-month period and cannot be cancelled or paused mid-term.
Users are encouraged to explore the tool’s features and documentation prior to subscribing.

3. Exceptions – Limited Refund Eligibility

Refunds are only considered under rare and verifiable circumstances, including:

Duplicate payment for the same service or subscription.
A platform error resulting in an incorrect charge.

To qualify for a refund in such cases, users must:

Notify our support team within 7 working days of the transaction.
Provide valid proof (transaction ID, screenshots, etc.).

If your request is approved, refunds will be processed within 10 to 15 working days.

4. User Responsibilities and Acknowledgement

By using the Global Climate X platform, users agree and acknowledge that:

Contributions to environmental projects are non-reversible and non-refundable.
The issuance of offsetting or energy certificates signifies the completion of a legally binding climate transaction.
It is the user’s responsibility to review project and subscription details before confirming a payment.
